Collection: Walking Aids

Finding the right walking aid can make a real difference to everyday independence and confidence. Whether you need light support for shorter walks or a more substantial aid for daily use, the right product depends on your situation, environment and mobility needs.

Our walking aids range includes folding walking sticks, rollator walkers and motorised walking aids — suitable for older Australians, people recovering from surgery or injury, and anyone who needs added stability when moving around.

How to Choose a Walking Aid

  • Walking sticks suit people who need light support and balance assistance on flat surfaces
  • Rollators and walkers suit people who need more substantial support, or who tire easily and benefit from a built-in seat
  • Motorised walking aids suit people who need both walking support and the option of motorised transport

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a walker and a rollator?
A walker is a frame with no wheels that is lifted with each step. A rollator has wheels, hand brakes and usually a seat, and is pushed forward. Rollators allow a more natural stride and are better suited to people who walk regularly but tire easily. Read our full guide.

What weight limits do walking aids have?
Weight limits vary by product. The electric rollator supports up to 135kg. Please check individual product pages or contact us to confirm the weight capacity of a specific product before ordering.

Can walking aids be used outdoors?
Most of our walking aids are suitable for flat outdoor surfaces such as footpaths and paved areas. They are generally not designed for rough terrain, grass or gravel. Check individual product pages for surface suitability notes.

Can I try a walking aid before buying?
We are an online store and do not have a physical showroom. If you need to assess a product before committing, we recommend consulting an occupational therapist who can advise based on your specific needs.

Can NDIS or aged care funding be used?
It may be possible depending on your plan and circumstances. See our NDIS and aged care funding page for general information, and check with your plan manager or provider.
